Now with over 10,000 SR Series aircraft delivered and 17 million flight hours logged, Cirrus has introduced the SR Series G7+ featuring Safe Return Emergency Autoland – an autonomous safety feature that leverages advanced algorithms and sensors to fly to a suitable nearby airport in the event the pilot becomes incapacitated, or another inflight emergency occurs. Safe Return is easily accessible by the touch of a button which is centrally located on the cabin ceiling.
Safe Return Emergency Autoland has been featured on the Cirrus Vision Jet since 2019, but this is the first time in history that the Safe Return Emergency Autoland system has been meticulously engineered into a single-engine piston aircraft. Now that Safe Return is accessible to the growing Cirrus aircraft market, more pilots and passengers will have added state-of-the-art safety systems to leverage in the event of an emergency.
