They say good things come in threes – and Cartier’s Trinity collection has been living proof of that for a century. As the iconic three-band design celebrates its 100th anniversary, Cartier is capping off a year-long global celebration with a pop-up dedicated to the Trinity collection in Miami’s Design District. From December 4 through 8, the Cartier Trinity 100 experience invites visitors to step inside the story of a design that has transcended decades, cultures and trends.
The immersive journey traces the evolution of Louis Cartier’s 1924 creation: what began as a strikingly simple ring of intertwined rose gold, yellow gold and platinum has been embraced by everyone from avant-garde artists to Hollywood royalty.

The Trinity 100 experience spans five rooms, each offering a different glimpse into Cartier’s Trinity story. Jean Cocteau, the French avant-garde artist who put the collection on the map in the 1930s with his signature pinky rings, gets a dedicated space brimming with old-world charm. Elsewhere, a room dives into Trinity’s star turns in pop culture, while another pays homage to Cartier’s fascination with the number three – a motif woven throughout the Maison’s history like a golden thread.

Of course, no Cartier showcase would be complete without jaw-dropping pieces on display. The Trinity 100 pop-up includes highlights from the Cartier Collection – that’s the Maison’s treasure trove of over 3,000 archival designs. It’s also a chance to glimpse the latest evolution of Trinity, including a fresh 2024 cushion shape that reimagines the classic configuration.
As a cherry on top, Cartier is launching five limited-edition Trinity designs in North America on December 1. Featuring animal-inspired details – a nod to Cartier’s signature panther, tiger and snake motifs – the collection includes bold pieces like a two-finger ring or the striking single earring. For those unable to snag them stateside, the collection goes global on February 1, 2025.

Trinity 100 will be open to the public at 23 NE 41st St Miami, FL, from Wednesday, December 4 – Sunday, December 8 (11:00 am – 9:00 pm). Visitors will be able to reserve a timeslot for complimentary admission at www.cartier.com.
