For centuries, London has been a hub for some of the most creative minds in history. This season, the city will bring its focus to the artists of the modern day at Frieze London. Taking place from October 6-9, 2016 in Regent’s Park, Frieze London will exhibit more than 160 galleries from around the world. With an exclusive package centered on the event, Hotel Café Royal is inviting visitors to celebrate the contemporary art scene while enjoying luxury accommodations in a top suite.
At Frieze London, works from more than 1,000 artists are set to be on display, showcasing those recently discovered alongside some of the most well-known names in contemporary art. This year’s featured sections at Frieze London are: Live, The Nineties and Focus. Festival highlights include a non-profit program of new artist commissions, a series of talks, guided tours, and large-scale pieces in the Frieze Sculpture Park. For those looking to expand their own collections, Frieze Bespoke offers a personalized tour service organized around the interests and background of the buyer.
Hotel Café Royal’s Frieze Package includes a stay in one of the hotel’s suites, two passes to Frieze London and Frieze Masters, private butler service, exclusive access to The Club at Café Royal and the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Center, and a culinary experience by Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Barber. In the form of an edible artist’s palette, the unique creation is made of solid Valrhona Opayls white chocolate and butterscotch and is brushed in Dulcey chocolate to achieve the effect of a wooden base. “Paints” on the palette will be designed using an assortment of flavored chocolates in range of colors.
