You don’t have to travel far this winter to experience a glitzy après ski. In partnership with Veuve Clicquot, NYC’s rooftop hotspot Mr Purple is hosting Clicquot Chalet now through February 19, a holiday pop-up where guests can sit in a large snow-globe (fitting up to 30 people) while enjoying fondue and festive drinks – with bubbly, of course.
Whether you’re looking to book the space for a private party or simply enjoy some spiked hot chocolate or champagne-infused drinks with friends at happy hour, the rooftop is designed for those who love all things winter. From its decor (think an antler chandelier, flannel, carved wood moose heads, furry blankets and logs) to its menu, every last detail is carefully curated to truly make you feel like you’re in a cozy ski town. Inside the heated globe are chairs and tables for your friends to kick back and relax while taking in views of the Manhattan skyline.
Come for a glass of Veuve, but stay for the inventive cocktails. We love the Frozen or Hot Chocolate with vodka; By The Fire with Hennessy Vsop or the Rooftop Toddy with spiced rum, hot apple cider and a cinnamon stick. To complement this indulgent drink menu, order chocolate or cheese fondue and other ski- and winter-themed menu options, including a warm pretzel and queso blanco. 
Reservations are required in advance, so gather your friends and family for an afternoon or evening filled with Veuve.
