In 1783, Martell was the first brand to ship its cognac barrels from France to the United States. More than two centuries later, Martell is introducing its newest product inspired by the role of the U.S. in the cognac’s long history. Martell Blue Swift, an Eau de Vie de Vin made of 100% Cognac VSOP, is matured in French Oak casks then finished in Kentucky Bourbon casks for a unique and rounded flavor. Aromas include banana and caramelized pears, with classic taste notes of candied fruit and plum. A finish of vanilla and toasted oak reveals the bourbon casks. The new release can also be taken neat or over ice.
Martell Blue Swift will be exclusively available in select U.S. markets this October with suggested retail of $49.99. For more information, visit martell.com.
