Ralph’s Evening Roast
- 2 oz Woodford Reserve whiskey
- 4 oz Ralph’s Roast coffee
- .75 oz Demerara syrup
To create our Cocktail of the Week, combine whiskey, coffee and syrup into an Irish Coffee mug and top with hand-whipped heavy cream.
This Friday, we think you deserve to take your coffee with a kick. Our drink of choice, Ralph’s Evening Roast, features La Colombe’s first custom-blend coffee in Europe created for the newly opened Ralph’s Coffee & Bar by Ralph Lauren in London.
“The thought behind this cocktail was to put our own twist on Irish Coffee by using American whiskey [and] to showcase the La Colombe custom blend of Ralph’s Coffee, specifically made for Ralph’s Coffee & Bar,” said Lauren’s team, speaking to Elite Traveler.
Following the success of The Polo Bar in New York City, Ralph’s Coffee & Bar in London is the newest addition to the Ralph Lauren hospitality portfolio. Adjacent to the new European flagship store on Regent Street, guests are immersed in the Ralph Lauren experience with the brand’s equestrian influence evident throughout the decor. The 24-seat venue has an additional 12 seats at the brass-topped bar and features saddle-leather banquettes, dark wood paneling and green billiard cloth.
Ralph’s Evening Roast showcases the best of both worlds, as Ralph’s serves a selection of custom blend coffee and signature cocktails unique to the London location. Guests can enjoy traditional bar snacks while taking in the cozy atmosphere, or look to the menu for light fare like oysters, butternut squash soup and a smoked salmon sandwich.
Ralph’s Coffee & Bar is located at 173 Regent St, Mayfair, London W1B 4JQ. For more information, please visit ralphlauren.co.uk.
