Adding even more appeal to California’s Wine Country, Four Seasons have announced plans for a lavish new five-star resort and a collection of exclusive private residences in Napa Valley; scheduled to open in 2019, sales for the Bald Mountain Development residences are now underway. Not only will these properties afford an idyllic life among the vines, the owners of each two, three and four-bedroom residence are also afforded access to all of the five-star hotel’s amenities.
Designed in collaboration between architect John Hill, the O’Bryan Partnership, Engstrom Design Group and Erin Martin Design, each residence is inspired by the agrarian heritage of the region. Sprawled across one or two floors, the farmhouse-style villas will feature indoor and outdoor space for entertaining, and luxurious master suites, as well as private terraces with views over the vineyards and out towards the mountains. Each property’s furnishings will then be curated by Erin Martin Interior Design.
Perhaps most extraordinarily, with the development’s location in the heart of the Calistoga AVA, the resort will encompass its own exclusive winery. Here, both hotel guests and residents will have the opportunity to be a part of the wine-making process by collaborating with the renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown in the harvesting, fermentation, blending and bottling process. Owners of the residences will then have the unique opportunity to create their own wine blend, with custom labels and gift boxes to present the finished product in.
The winery will encompass a private tasting room, too, with temperature controlled wine storage and a private tasting area that will both be exclusively accessible to residents. This experiential way of living among the vines, along with a rejuvenating spa and a restaurant showcasing the region’s cuisine, promises to make these residences in Napa Valley a truly remarkable place to call home.
Residences start from $3.5 million. Find out more by going over to www.napaluxuryliving.com.
