Hickey Freeman is doubling down on its New York heritage by announcing a brand new, made to measure store in the newly revamped shopping destination, Brookfield Place, in downtown Manhattan.
While originally founded in 1899 in Rochester, NY, and still manufactured there, Hickey Freeman’s New York presence was largely untapped until now. The space, located on Brookfield Place’s second level, boasts over 180 fabric choices for tailoring and shirting, aimed at appealing to the tastes of the modern consumer. Opening this store in Brookfield Place was a strategic decision with an emotional tie as the brand aims to communicate their support of the World Trade Center area revival.
The concept store is specifically designed to represent the new direction of the brand, paying homage to Hickey Freeman’s roots, while staying current with the demands of the modern customer. To ensure the new Brookfield location offers convenience today’s consumer expects from a luxury tailoring company, in-store service and personal appointments can be made by emailing: brookfield@hickeyfreeman.com, or calling Store Manager, Clifton Raglin, at 646.918.6951.
Plans to expand into additional Manhattan locations are on the horizon to further deepen Hickey Freeman’s penetration into the market. New York City’s illustrious Upper East Side is currently the brand’s top choice, with the potential for three to four more stores around Manhattan.
