InterContinental Hotel Group is bringing its latest luxury hotel down under with a new property in Perth. With three InterContinental suites already on our list of Top 100 Suites, the hotel chain’s latest venture is set to offer the same grand guest experience when it opens in Australia this October.
At InterContinental Perth City Centre, expect a sense of place tied into the sleek decor that has defined its other properties. InterContinental Perth City Centre has commissioned art from local ceramicists, glassblowers, painters and sculptors to reflect the unique culture of the city in its 240 guest rooms. The one to book will be the Penthouse Suite with panoramic views of the Perth skyline, spacious bedroom with walk-in closet, and dining area. Guests of the suite receive access to the Club InterContinental Lounge on the hotel’s top floor for afternoon tea or canapés and cocktails in an exclusive setting.
While the 16-story hotel is just steps from His Majesty’s Theatre and the luxury shopping row on King Street, you won’t need to venture out for dining. Heno & Rey features a twist on tapas where guests will enjoy craft cocktails with fresh seafood or charcuterie. Savor pairings of West Australian wine with dishes from the grill at Ascua, or look out over bustling Perth from the alfresco terrace at the Loft Lounge. The hotel will also include Graffiti, a food truck-meets-diner concept adorned with works from Perth street artist Daek William, in keeping with the hotel’s local edge.
