Placing the focus on two destinations that are celebrated for their breath-taking scenery, Land Rover has launched new road trip adventures in Utah and Namibia complete with coaching from the expert Land Rover Experience instructors. Both give travelers the chance to get behind the wheel of the new Land Rover Discovery.
The Land Rover Namibia Adventure will take place over eight days with a briefing from the Land Rover Experience instructor and a chance to meet fellow travelers at the lodge before setting out to discover the landscape and wildlife that are so unique here. This self-drive road trip then opens up the opportunity to photograph Namibia’s great sand dunes, spot wildlife in Okonjima Nature Reserve and Etosha National Park and see where the Namib Desert meets the ocean.
The Utah Adventure then takes travelers on a five-day journey across the challenging terrain of this landscape with the chance to meet other drivers on the adventure. By going off-road, each person is given an exhilarating insight into this spectacular environment of red rock landscape, Arches National Park and Canyonlands, taking on the Seven Mile Rim, Poison Spider Mesa and Hell’s Revenge Trails.
The Global Experiential Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover, Mark Cameron, says: “Adventure plays a key part in what makes for an exhilarating drive – whether it be an iconic road trip or on the road-less-traveled. To do this from behind the wheel of the new Discovery makes it unique. These driving adventures will offer an exceptional driving experience where our customers will get the chance to push the vehicle to its limits and enjoy unforgettable surroundings.”
The Utah Adventure departs on 21st October 2017 and costs $5,250 per person, then the Namibia Adventure departs on 1st May 2018 costing from $6,943 per person. landroverusa.com
