The new Fiftysix collection
Mr Porter is adding renowned watchmaker Vacheron Constantin to its roster of high-horology offerings on September 5.
The online men’s retailer, mainly known for its luxury ready-to-wear, will curate 18 watches from the brand’s iconic product families, as well as feature six timepieces from the new Fiftysix collection. From this new collection, the site will offer the Fiftysix Day-Date in pink gold and the Fiftysix Complete Calendar in stainless steel.
Pieces from other notable collections, such as Patrimony, Traditionnelle and the Overseas collections will be available, including the Patrimony Perpetual Calendar and the Traditionnelle Tourbillon in pink gold. As the oldest watchmaker in the world, Vacheron Constantin places importance on innovation, design and pristine finishing.
Overseas collection
To marry its longstanding heritage with a desire to appeal to the modern consumer, CEO Louis Ferla notes that expanding Vacheron Constantin’s e-commerce presence is a natural next step for the 263-year-old watch brand.
“We are thrilled to start offering Vacheron Constantin’s watches on Mr Porter and collaborate with their teams to spread the heritage and values of high watchmaking,” Ferla says.
