This Seasons’s Fab Floral Womenswear

By Kristen Shirley

This story originally appeared in the January/February 2018 issue of Elite Traveler.

Even though it’s only resort season, spring has sprung. Delicate floral patterns appeared throughout the collections. Rosie Assoulin used flowers on elegant gowns, as seen here, and on crop tops, dresses and even a pair of overalls. CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Brock Collection has taken the industry by storm since its debut in 2014. Designed by husband-wife duo Kristopher Brock and Laura Vassar, the label channels the relaxed vibe of Los Angeles, where the company is based. Floral prints are a signature of the house, and this season, ladylike ruffles added to the romance.

Since his arrival at the helm of Gucci, Alessandro Michele has placed floral patterns atop the signature Gucci print, on wild, retro-inspired clothes and now hand-painted on white python.
