Named after the Mayan God of consciousness, Naum, the spa helps you channel your inner peacefulness within the 10,000-sq-ft, six-treatment-room space. Crafted with smooth wood and a neutral color palette, the spa’s floor-to-ceiling shuttered windows allow the warm tropical breeze to flow through. Reminiscent of a jungle setting, greenery surrounds the spa so you feel secluded and relaxed, while jaw-dropping vistas of the endless ocean welcome you.
New on the menu are the Naum Rituals, allowing you to pay tribute to yourself and your intention of choice: Tsoolik (clarity), He’lel (rest), Muuk’ (strength) and Molcintah (connection). The three-part treatment begins with a Mayan Time of Reflection followed by your treatment of choice and concludes with a Mayan Celebration, which helps you reconnect to the universe.
The spa also offers traditional facials, massages and body work. The Naum Ritual of Massage is a customized experience where guests can choose from hot stones, specific aromatherapy blends and the type of massage technique best suited for your needs. The Mayan Stone massage helps stimulate the body’s energy centers while harmonizing your mind, body and spirit — plus it releases toxins from the body. The Deep Cleansing Facial improves skin clarity, reduces blemishes and soothes inflammation with natural ingredients like Alpine Willow and Moss Extract.
Other treatments include the Xoco-Tequila Body Wrap, which helps to combat stress with powerful Mexican antioxidants found in local chocolate and tequila. Not only will this relax your mind and senses, it will help retain youthfulness. We suggest the organic Red Berries Wrap & Massage, a customized massage in candlelight, as proceeds go towards the RED project initiative. For those looking to get an even glow during your vacation, opt for the Naum Body Scrub, ideal for exfoliating before hitting the beach.
