After a career in fashion and obtaining an MBA from Stanford University, Indré Rockefeller founded the super-chic luggage company Paravel. In her travels around the world sourcing the coolest new fashion designers, she was disappointed that the
luggage she saw was utilitarian and not reflective of the fabulous destinations she was traveling to.With her business partner, she launched Paravel and began designing beautiful canvas luggage that’s worthy of carrying the incredible clothing inside. Rockefeller travels to Florence, Italy, throughout the year to visit the family-owned factory and to find inspiration in the city’s museums, gardens and myriad shops. Taking an early morning walk in the Boboli Gardens is one of her favorite ways to start the day. And what’s inside her luggage? Her favorite Khaite jeans, tees from For Days, a classic blazer and fantastic heels.
