In celebration of its ninth year sponsoring the Monaco Yacht Show, Ulysse Nardin releases a limited-edition timepiece that honors both its partnership and its long maritime history. In 1846, Ulysse Nardin created his eponymous company with the intention to create precision marine chronometers, and has long been known for its excellence in this field.
The Marine Chronometer Annual Calendar Monaco continues this tradition with both its good looks and its impressive movement. The beautiful white lacquered dial has blue roman numeral indexes, small subdial with power reserve at 12 o’clock, and annual calendar and seconds subdial inscribed with Monaco 2017 at 6 o’clock. The months and days of the date disc are black, except for September and the days 27, 28, 29 and 30, which are blue to mark the dates of the yacht show. The in-house movement is easy to use: you can set the date both forward and backward with the push of a button, making adjustment a breeze. Limited to 100 pieces, the COSC-certified automatic movement has a 60-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 100m. It is housed in a 43mm stainless steel case and has an open caseback.
The Marine Chronometer Annual Calendar Monaco is $9,900 and is available at the Monaco Yacht Show or at Kronometry 1999, located at La Régina 13 Boulevard des Moulins in Monaco. Please call +377 97 70 44 22 or email monaco@kronometry1999.com for more information.
