Las Vegas will honor veterans with more than just fireworks this Fourth of July with the Freedom Jack cocktail. Created by MGM Resorts corporate mixologist Craig Schoettler, the cocktail is an all-American combination of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, ginger beer and Chambord.
It is available across all MGM Resorts from July 3 – 5, and is at a discounted rate for active and retired military personnel.
Ingredients
—1 ½ oz Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
—¼ oz Chambord
—Ginger beer
—Mint sprig
—Lime wheel
Method
In a Collins glass, pour the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Add ice and top off with ginger beer. Carefully stir. Finish with a Chambord float. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wheel/wedge.
