HOTEL BRASSERIE AU VIOLON

By DevTeam

AU VIOLONDINING ROOM

Style / Ambiance: Rich in history and legend, the Lohnhof is the perfect setting for the elegant Hotel Brasserie Au Violon.

The building dates back to 1060, and between 1821-25 it was the town’s police headquarters, becoming a prison from 1835 to 1995. Fortunately, today’s owners, Nadia and Frédéric Würtz, are far more welcoming. Au Violon offers a wonderful French-themed menu, that is shaped by the seasons and prepared by experts. In summer, guests can enjoy the peaceful garden terrace, near the beautiful Lohnhof Fountain. The unique character of this former jailhouse makes for a dining experience you won’t want to escape from. Groups of up to 15 are welcome, and for larger parties the special banquet room is recommended.
