By Lauren Jade Hill

High quality ingredients, cultural diversity and the presence of a series of exceptional chefs make the dining scene in Hamburg worth spending time getting to know. We take a look at the best restaurants in Hamburg to begin your culinary exploration of the city.

The Table Kevin Fehling

Laying claim to three Michelin stars, The Table Kevin Fehling is justifiably praised highly by those who dine here. Chef Kevin Fehling strives to create an atmosphere of comfort and ease in which you can simply enjoy the dining experience. Expect dishes such as Faroe Island salmon with passion fruit, yuzu and miso, and an intimate modern space featuring a curved cherry wood bar for social dining.

Located within the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg, this two Michelin starred restaurant combines a classically elegant dining room with the inspired dishes by chef Christoph Rüffer and his team. By playing with the flavors, aroma and composition of each dish, the chefs here aim to surprise through their menu of dishes such as Gillardeau oyster with green peas and roast onion broth, and Arctic char from Iceland with Beurre blanc warm and cold. A Chef’s Table can be arranged.
