Mandarin Oriental has unveiled the first images of its stylish branded residences in Beverly Hills. Situated at 9200 Wilshire Boulevard, a stone’s throw from Rodeo Drive and the ‘Golden Triangle’, the property is the first new condominium to be built in the exclusive neighborhood in over a decade.
It is also the inaugural US project of British design studio, 1508 London. Spanning an entire city block, the 323,000-sq-ft property will feature 54 residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, including six sprawling penthouses.
The interiors take inspiration from the stunning surroundings. “A distinct biophilic design language was integrated embracing elements of local nature, the Hollywood Hills, the neighboring ‘Golden Triangle’ and Beverly Hills’ particular light to inform material and detail selections,” explains Leo Bertacchini, design director and principal at 1508 London.
“For instance, organic forms are a signature detail throughout the property – curved stone at the arrival portals, asymmetric curved stone islands that mimic the curvature of the surrounding hills, and vein-matched curved stone corners on the vanities.”

The residences are sleek and modern with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors revealing sweeping views of the leafy neighborhood. As you would expect with a Mandarin Oriental property, the finishes are seriously luxurious with wide-plank Nordic white oak flooring by Grato, bespoke Molteni kitchens, leathered Taj Mahal quartzite countertops and Tabu Birch wooden cabinets.
Those that want a move-in-ready home can opt for a selection of expertly curated furnishings by 1508 London, right down to sumptuous Frette bed linens and George Jensen silver cutlery.
Renowned Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea was brought in to design the central Palm Court and roof terrace, dotting the spaces with lush citrus and pomegranate trees. The most exclusive abodes also feature bright, airy bonsai courtyard gardens – the perfect setting for whiling away a balmy summer evening.
Of course, Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills will come with all the amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel including a private porte-cochere with valet parking, a sunny rooftop pool with daybeds and cabanas, a spa with a steam room and sauna, state-of-the-art fitness center, and culinary offerings from celebrated French chef and restauranteur, Daniel Boulud.
Properties are currently on the market, with prices starting at $3.6m for a one-bedroom apartment and first move-ins commencing later this year. “We’re excited to launch sales at Mandarin Oriental Residences, Beverly Hills, and bring a new standard of elevated living to the market,” said Michael Shvo, founder, chairman and CEO of real-estate developer SHVO.
“Residents will have the best of both worlds, including the added security and privacy of residential-only building underscored by legendary five-star Mandarin Oriental service, concierge-driven amenities, turnkey residences and Michelin-starred culinary offerings.”
Prices for one-bedroom residences at Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills start at $3.6m, two-bedroom residences at $6.3m, and three-bedroom residences at $9.5m. Penthouse pricing is available upon request.
