An impressive roster of designers played a part in the realization of 38 Ocean Course Drive. James Choate of Surber Barber Choate + Hertlein Architects came up with the architectural plan, master builder Russ Cooper Associates executed his ideas and Nancy Braithwaite took on the seaside retreat’s interiors. Acclaimed landscape designer Sheila Wertimer complemented this with manicured hedges and a covering of trees (including 125-year-old oaks) providing privacy without obstructing the ocean views.
