Marcio Kogan Apartment, Francesc Macià 10, Barcelona, Spain

The 1960s-listed office block turned luxury residential building, Francesc Macià 10, is the work of developer Squircle Capital and Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan’s design firm Studio MK27. The whole development is yet to reach completion, but the developers unveiled this third-floor apartment last year, giving a glimpse of what else is to come. Jointly designed by Marcio Kogan and the co-founder of Squircle Capital, José Caireta, the 6,458-sq-ft apartment comes fitted with walnut wood; Carrara, Statuario and Negro Marquina marble; brass and black granite; and a color scheme of yellow and gray. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring views of the city into focus. The residence has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a 592-sq-ft kitchen and 2,690-sq-ft living room, and comes with the services and amenities Squircle Capital curated to deliver the experience of staying in a five-star hotel.
