The Restaurant
Auberge des Templiers, a Relais & Châteaux property in Boismorand, offers a timeless experience steeped in history. This former post house, showcasing quintessential Sologne architecture with its half-timbered, pink brick facade dating back to the 17th century, once welcomed luminaries like Mistinguett and Maurice Chevalier. Today, chef Thibault Nizard helms the kitchen of the restaurant, which holds one Michelin star. Diners can savor creative cuisine that celebrates the region's bounty, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. The dining room provides views of the magnificent grounds, adorned with hundred-year-old trees. The Auberge also boasts an exceptional wine cellar, housing over 650 references, including some vintages that are over a century old. Guillaume Depée is the general director of the hotel.
