The Restaurant

Located in Cocentaina, Alicante, L'Escaleta offers a contemporary take on Levantine cuisine, shaped by over forty years of family tradition. Chef Kiko Moya, alongside Alberto Redrado, draws upon culinary memories to craft dishes that tell stories, earning the restaurant two Michelin stars. Eschewing unnecessary frills, Moya complements his à  la carte offerings with tasting menus that celebrate the terroir, using the finest local and seasonal produce. The restaurant is famous for its *arroces al cuadrado*, a rice specialty served in a rectangular iron tray and finished in the oven. The meticulously curated menu is enhanced by an excellent wine selection, promising a gastronomic experience that satisfies even the most discerning palates.
