The Restaurant
In the unassuming village of Runate, between Cremona and Mantua, lies Dal Pescatore, a culinary destination that has drawn pilgrims for nearly a century. What began in 1926 as a simple family inn, "Vino e Pesce," has been transformed into a temple of Italian gastronomy. The restaurant is run by the Santini family, with Antonio Santini overseeing the front of house, while his wife Nadia Santini helms the kitchen. Dal Pescatore earned its third Michelin star in 1996 and has maintained it ever since, a testament to its unwavering commitment to culinary excellence. The ambiance blends old and new, creating an enchanting setting for memorable dishes that evolve without succumbing to fleeting trends. The focus remains steadfastly on flavor and the joy of good food.
