The Restaurant
Antica Corona Reale, a culinary landmark nestled between the Langhe and Monviso, recently celebrated its bicentennial, marking two centuries of Vivalda family stewardship. For five generations, this establishment has evolved from a dairy farm into a celebrated restaurant, now holding two Michelin stars. Owner-chef Gian Piero Vivalda, recognized with the Passion Dessert Award in 2024, crafts menus featuring expertly prepared dishes. The restaurant is a magnet for gourmands, drawing inspiration from local suppliers who provide ingredients such as capon, guinea fowl, veal, Carmagnola peppers, and porcini mushrooms. The menu balances modern creations with reimagined classics, including a delicate raviolo of bagna cà uda. In warmer months, guests can dine beneath a beautiful pergola amidst colorful flowers and a fountain. For intimate gatherings, two private rooms are available, one within the wine cellar, surrounded by legendary bottles.
