The Restaurant
Perched atop the old town of Colle di Val d'Elsa, Arnolfo offers a unique blend of art and fine dining amidst the Tuscan countryside. Chef Gaetano Trovato, drawing inspiration from local produce, transforms his two passions into innovative cuisine. The restaurant, named after the thirteenth-century sculptor and architect Arnolfo di Cambio, blends age-old traditions with modern techniques. Opened in 1982, Arnolfo sits within a modern structure designed to showcase the views of the Chianti hills. The dining room features an open-view kitchen framed by yellow Siena marble. Chef Trovato, a Mentor Chef Award recipient, and his team present tasting menus, including a vegetarian option, with à la carte choices available. Arnolfo holds two Michelin stars, a testament to its excellent cooking.
