The Restaurant
Located within the luxurious Gran Meliá Sancti Petri hotel in Chiclana de la Frontera, Alevante offers a culinary voyage led by chef Cristian Rodríguez, under the gastronomic direction of Ángel León, also known as the "Chef of the Sea." Alevante earned its second Michelin star in 2024, seven years after receiving its first in 2017. The restaurant's elegant dining room features a minimalist design, adorned with subtle silhouettes of fish and hemp rope curtains. Guests begin their experience with enticing appetizers and regional wines in the bar before progressing to the main dining area. Here, the tasting menu showcases the finest maritime seafood, including sea urchins, shrimp, mackerel, and dogfish. The experience includes the "Alevante Crew" book, which serves as a guide to the ingredients and culinary concepts behind each dish.
