A new chapter to be started in the name of excellence. Kiton announces the acquisition of Palazzo Ferré, the iconic building situated in Via Pontaccio in Milan, the ex-headquarters of the Maison Gianfranco Ferré.
With more than 4,000 m2, the design will embody the Made in Italy values which lay at the core of the Kiton brand and product. In fact, after careful research, the space proved to be the best choice to represent the current expansion plans of the brand.
The renovation project consists of a preservative restoration of the interiors not aiming at interrupting a tradition but instead to continue it with a new story of excellence. Palazzo Kiton will house their showroom (where earlier fashion shows used to take place), a sales department and on the ground-floor, an atelier open to the public where it will be possible to appreciate the Kiton method – a modus operandi strictly based on supreme quality, sartorial tradition and unique handcraft.
Sharing a similar concept to the New York headquarters, which opened in 2003, the brand’s new Palazzo in Via Pontaccio will serve not simply as a place for display but somewhere to meet and exchange experiences with the city and its inhabitants, infusing elements of the Milanese lifestyle and its role as a fashion capital. The first initiative in light of this new plan will be its inauguration on 12th January 2014 during the next Milan Menswear Fashion Week kermesse.
