Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Chronomètre à Résonance, FP Journe this year releases a much-anticipated commemorative piece that highlights his incredible experience with Resonance. The highly complex 378-part caliber 1520 offers a double time display. The left dial showcases the time in 24 hours, while the right indicates 12 hours. It is equipped with two independent escapements and balances. Underscoring the importance of mechanical chronometry and precision, the two balances support one another to power the movement evenly. The caliber — which boasts a single barrel that provides power for the two balances — is so accurate that the watch will not exceed five seconds a day in deviation.
