The Bartholdi Presidential Suite claims one of the best sunset vantage points in the city. Its 920-square-foot wraparound terrace, located on the west side of Casa Cipriani, provides direct, uninterrupted sightlines to the Statue of Liberty and the East River.
Inside, the design leans toward a chic, loft-like aesthetic. The combination of light tones, lacquer mahogany, and custom Italian furnishings establishes the primary feel, while specific materials—like cream Loro Piana Interiors' cashmere fabrics and industrial iron accents—add textural depth.
Functionality is key here. The layout includes a formal dining area designed for ten, a dedicated workspace, and an eight-way Sonos sound system built for entertaining or quiet listening. For the bedroom, the focus is pure comfort: a king-size Magniflex mattress ensures a restful sleep, supplemented by a choice of pillow firmness.
The Hotel
Casa Cipriani is a sophisticated blend of Italian elegance and New York glamour, located on Manhattan’s waterfront. With a private club ambiance, the hotel is located in the landmark Battery Maritime Building, a building so many New Yorkers have seen, but so few have actually ventured into. The hotel features waterfront views, world-class dining, with a Club restaurant, the Jazz Cafe, the Club Bar, the Promenade Bar, and the Living Room.
