The Suite
The Bowery Hotel's Penthouse Terrace Suite sits fourteen stories up, offering a distinct, seventies-inspired take on downtown luxury. This is a space that manages to feel both trendy and genuinely nostalgic. The design relies on a confident color story: orange and copper tones are balanced by olive and tan leather accents, defining the main living area and the king bedroom.
Crittall-style windows replace standard panes, providing structured views of the surrounding city. The marble bathroom is equipped with a rainfall showerhead and features gold-brushed brass finishings, complemented by C.O. Bigelow amenities.
Crucially, the suite includes a private terrace. It is set up for actual use, furnished with vintage pieces, including a proper table, chairs, and comfortable sun loungers, making it a functional outdoor extension of the room.
The Hotel
A darling of creatives, tastemakers and Manhanntan's effortlessly cool crowd, The Bowery Hotel oozes vintage charm and boutique luxury right in the heart of the edgy Lower East Side. You'll be forgiven for thinking the hotel, with its classic New York grey brick facade and fire escapes, is one of the city's oldest – although you won't misjudge the fact it's one of the neighborhood's tallest buildings when staring out at unmatched city views from each of the 135 room's floor-to-ceiling windows. Curl up in the cozy, wood-clad lobby bar, where you'll want to settle by the fireplace sipping seasonal cocktails for hours and make sure to spend an evening at Gemma, the onsite Italian trattoria.
