The Suite
The Majestic Suite at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort sits directly on the beach, offering immediate access to the water while remaining discreetly removed from the main hotel. Offering privacy without being cut off, the suite has been designed for guests who want space and quiet with all of the benefits and service of a five-star resort.
Inside, the interiors draw gently from the landscape outside. Soft sand and pale turquoise tones are balanced with darker wood furniture, brushed metal accents, and cream upholstery. The suite is home to two bedrooms — one with a king bed, the other with two queen beds — both opening onto the terrace. Each connects to a large marble bathroom with an oval bathtub, shower, and double vanity.
At the heart of the villa, the main living area brings together a comfortable seating space and a dining table for six, positioned beneath contemporary lighting and modern artwork. A separate study, walk-in closet, and pantry make the suite easy to live in over several days, or longer.
Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors line the living spaces and open onto a wide terrace and garden, the latter of which is generous in size, encouraging long, unstructured days spent moving between shade and sun. A private infinity pool stretches toward the shoreline, framed by palms and sun loungers, while a wooden pagoda provides shelter during the hottest hours. An outdoor dining table sits close to the water, well placed for late lunches and breezier evenings.
The famous Butler service is, of course, included in the stay. Whether delivering morning coffee, handling packing, or taking care of laundry, the service runs quietly in the background, encouraging guests to sit back and relax.

The Hotel
The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is set within Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, just minutes from Louvre Abu Dhabi and Manarat Al Saadiyat. Despite this proximity, the resort feels removed from the city, helped by direct access to a wide stretch of beach and a layout that spreads guests across the site.
Arrival is through a long, glass-fronted lobby finished in polished marble and lit by Murano-glass chandeliers.. The resort’s 376 rooms and suites are arranged across low-rise buildings with Mediterranean influences, facing either the sea or the golf club.
The beach quickly becomes the focus of most stays. Its width, combined with calm water, make it easy to find space, whether for swimming or simply settling in for the afternoon. Two large pools sit just behind the shoreline, one reserved for adults, while families typically gravitate toward the Sandcastle Club, an indoor play space offering games, consoles, and supervised activities.
Dining unfolds across several settings rather than a single main hub. Olea handles all-day Mediterranean-influenced cooking, while Buddha-Bar Beach serves Southeast Asian dishes over a series of pools. Café Ginori offers a quieter pace for breakfast or afternoon tea, and The Manhattan Lounge tends to draw guests before and after dinner. The house Bloody Mary, mixed with cumin and za’atar, has become a house favorite.
Wellness facilities include a spa with 12 treatment rooms, an indoor lap pool, and a fully-equipped gym, with studio classes and personal training available. Guests also have access to squash courts and the Arabian Gulf’s first beachfront golf course – the Saadiyat Beach Golf Course – designed by Gary Player. Butler service is standard throughout the resort, with requests typically handled via WhatsApp and managed quickly, ensuring a relaxed stay.
