Belmond’s first beach club, Lido Villeggiature, A Villa Sant’Andrea Beach Club, will open its doors to the public in May 2024. Located on the secluded shores of the Bay of Mazzarò in Taormina Mare, the stunning Sicilian hideaway will offer guests oceanfront entertainment from dusk until dawn.
Alongside a selection of 1950s-style sun loungers, the intimate escape will feature six cabanas, where guests can enjoy service from a dedicated yet discreet butler service. For any special requests or inquiries, there will be an expert beachfront concierge service on hand.
Visitors seeking relaxation can start their day with waterfront yoga, and enjoy an afternoon of signature wellness treatments. For thrill-seekers, there’s a wide range of watersports to choose from.

Guests will also have access to Lido Villeggiature’s private boat, the Sorrento-built Apremare Gozzo 35. Perfect for exploring the surrounding nature reserve and destinations such as Isola Bella, Acitrezza and Siracusa, guests will be able to tailor the experience to their liking.
Throughout the day, the club’s vibrant bar will serve cocktails, aperitivos and local Sicilian granites. For a truly Sicilian experience, the beach club will offer ‘Villegiature’ game sessions, where friends and family take part in cards and board games.
As day turns to night, Lido Villeggiature will ensure there’s no need for beachgoers to rush off home. Instead, they can stay into the night and enjoy live music, a DJ, craft cocktails, and barbecued seafood curated by executive chef Agostino D’Angelo and bar manager Fabio Rosella.

Brizza, the exclusive tide-to-table restaurant, will also be serving up culinary delights to just eight beachfront tables. For ultimate privacy, there is the option to enjoy a fully-secluded candlelit dinner for two.
From June to September, guests will also have access to the Lido Villeggiature’s very own open-air cinema. In celebration of the partnership between Villa Sant’Andrea and the Taormina Film Festival, visitors can enjoy 1950s and 1960s Italian film classics under the twinkling stars, from the comfort of their waterfront cabana.
