Raffles Hotel Singapore is often regarded as a ‘crown jewel’ in the hospitality industry. The landmark hotel opened its doors in 1887, impressing guests with its attention to detail and timeless elegance. Raffles plans to celebrate their 125th anniversary throughout September, offering a celebration package complete with luxurious perks that are guaranteed to catch any jetsetter’s eye.
The iconic hotel and Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre are teaming up to celebrate Raffles’ milestone anniversary. Watch enthusiasts all over the globe are fans of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s double-sided Reverso watch, which contains a case that can be personalized with any engraving. To mark Raffles’ 125th anniversary, the watch company is engraving “Raffles Hotel 1887-2012 Singapore” on the underside case of the Gents’ Reverso Grande Taille and Ladies’ Grande Reverso Lady Ultra-Thin, which will be included in the package. Guests booking the luxurious celebration package will receive one Jaeger-LeCoultre Gents and one Jaeger-LeCoultre Ladies 125th anniversary watch, valued at $7,975 and $10,367.
The luxury package also includes two nights in the Presidential Suite with roundtrip airport transfers in Raffles’ Bentley. Upon arrival in-suite, guests will begin a celebration of their own by popping the cork of Billecart-Salmon Champagne. Guests also have the option of experiencing Raffles’ famous afternoon tea in the Tiffin Room or Drawing Room and can choose between two tickets to A Tiger’s Tale- 125th Anniversary Fancy Dress Dinner on Saturday, September 15 or a dinner for two in the Bar and Billiard Room.
The anniversary package is available from Saturday, September 1 until Sunday, September 30, 2012. The luxury package is priced at $39,875.
