Singapore’s Fullerton Hotel offers F1 Grand Prix Packages

Singapore – Bringing luxury and glamour to the world’s first night time F1 Grand Prix, being held in Singapore on September 28th 2008, The Fullerton Hotel will offer fans of F1, a discerning and decadent travel experience which includes exclusive access to rooftop viewing decks – a benefit of the hotel’s enviable trackside location.

All guests staying at The Fullerton, Singapore’s most prestigious hotel address, for a four or five night package during the F1 race period can expect a luxurious experience set to rival Monaco, which includes privileged access to the hotel’s dedicated champagne and cocktail lounge on qualifying and race day, and VIP access to the hotel’s One Fullerton Rooftop Viewing Gallery, which offers views of the track. Guests staying in suites will also have further exclusive access to the Hotel’s rooftop viewing platform- offering an unrivalled bird’s eye view of the city and the F1 circuit throughout the race.

Other luxurious extras for guests include champagne in-room on arrival, complimentary mini bar (excluding alcohol), wireless internet access, and daily champagne buffet breakfast at the hotel’s Town restaurant. Guests staying in suites will also benefit from VIP limo transfers from and to Singapore’s Changi Airport.

The F1 Grand Prix comes to Singapore for the first time since 1973, and is the world’s first ever night time race. This 61-lap race through the streets of Singapore is set to be one of the most exciting races on the F1 tournament, being one of only three anti-clockwise circuits, making it an important and exhilarating race.

The Fullerton Hotel sits in an enviable position being trackside, with a stunning outlook across the harbor making it a great location to view the race and benefit from being in the centre of the action and glamour that is F1.

Housed in the the former “Boy’s Club” of the Singapore Club, The Fullerton is a landmark luxury property in the heart of Singapore, a magnificent Palladian-style Fullerton Building, which was also home to the General Post Office and the Chamber of Commerce. Successfully blending rich heritage with contemporary style, the hotel offers travelers world-class accommodation with superior service delivery, and the outdoor infinity pool with views over the Singapore River has been listed as one of the best in the world. The pool is suspended on a terrace two stories above the river, and is open until lap, when guests can see the starlit sky reflected in the water as they swim.

The Fullerton’s F1 Experience packages start from approximately $1,500 per person per night. A minimum stay of four or five nights is required from September 25, 2008 to September 28, 2008, inclusive of both dates.
