Taste of Amsterdam is the Dutch branch of the world famous food festival, and as food festivals go, it’s a delightful way to celebrate Dutch cuisine.
Located in the sprawling Amstelpark, the festival features a number of the Dutch capital’s finest restaurants, as well as live cook-offs, classes, lectures and wine tasting events. Expect plenty of fun filled activities such as a cookery class from three Michelin- starred chefs or the ‘cheesewar’, a showdown to see if beer can compete with wine as a complement to cheese. A perfect way to end the Dutch summer, the festival is a celebration of the good life in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
