Madison Square Garden, known locally as The Garden is a multipurpose indoor arena and the third busiest music venue in the world in terms of ticket sales. As well as a pack concert calendar, Madison Square Garden also hosts some of New York’s greatest sporting competitions, with ice hockey, boxing, tennis and basketball dominating the bill. Radio City Music Hall, on the other hand, is specializes more in theatricals, with regular appearances by Cirque du Soleil. This surreal circus display mixed with theater has swept the world since its founding in 1984, winning over critics on four continents. Each year Cirque du Soleil is ever more innovative and spectacular, and catching this extraordinary troupe at Radio City Music Hall is a treat indeed.
