A Marina for Fairmont Hamilton Princess Bermuda

By Neharika Padala

By Leanna Lynch

princessThe Fairmont Hamilton Princess in Bermuda is thrilled to introduce its new 59-berth marina. Launched in September 2014, as part of a more than $90 million redevelopment project,

The Princess Marina will be the only full service marina in Bermuda with integrated pump-out facilities, custom metered electrical service, and water distribution.  Available for annual lease or daily rentals, berths, with high freeboard floating docks, range in size in order to accommodate the vessels of all its visitors.  Pleasure crafts, tournament fishing boats, and super yachts are all welcomed.

And in true royal fashion this marina is more than just a place to dock your boat.  The Princess Marina will offer additional luxury benefits to its guests, including custom picnics packed in hamper baskets and on-boat catering.  A dedicated marina concierge is available to assistant guests with everything from restaurant reservations to island recommendations.

Don’t feel like sailing the open sea?  The marina offers a number of onsite activities such as jet skiing, kayaking, parasailing, and standup paddle-board tours.  If you’re feeling audacious, sign up for a Wild Cat ‘Round the Island adventure.  This high-speed sightseeing adventure will take passengers around the entire island of Bermuda exploring areas that would even fascinate locals.

The Fairmont will accommodate guests who travel for Island events, as well as host a series of onsite affairs such as “Marina Nights.”  On these seasonal Friday evenings, the harbor space will transform into a lively lounge with outdoor grill, bar, and DJ for both guests and locals to enjoy.

“With annual events like the Bermuda Big Game Classic held each summer and bi-annual traditions like the Newport to Bermuda Race in 2016, the marina is a wonderful addition to Bermuda’s vibrant boating and sailing community,” said Dock master David Carey.

The ambiance of this new marina, coupled with the many luxuries offered inside the Fairmont, make it the go to nautical spot for long and short term travelers who want to be treated like royalty.
