Located at the iconic intersection of Hollywood and Vine, the Residences at W Hollywood’s Penthouse 12G is Tinseltown’s most playful accommodation.
An elite collection of homes with access to a wide range of private residential services and all hotel amenities, the residences are twelve floors above the Hollywood Walk of Fame and feature breathtaking views through floor-to-ceiling windows, inventive styling from LA’s hottest designers and terraces with nearly 1,000 square feet of outdoor space overlooking the heart of Hollywood. Each penthouse offers up to three reserved parking spaces.
President and Principal Designer of Arch Interiors Design Group, Inc., Christopher Grubb, designed Penthouse 12G, the ultimate playful entertaining space. An inviting and sophisticated space for urban living, the penthouse features fresh and hip colors, textures and handcrafted workmanship.
The 110-inch projection screen system with surround sound, custom game table surrounded by four plasma screen televisions and a 4×10-foot putting green are just some of the key elements featured in Grubb’s “chic tongue-in-cheek” interior.
“It’s all about play and fun. We created something extraordinary and unexpected that would take advantage of the spacious floor plan and terrace and also capture the energetic and vibrant nature of the neighborhood,” Grubb says. “Perhaps the most unexpected element is that there is no bedroom. We imagined an owner who wanted a second LA area home designed for entertaining. Here they can party with friends and not have the inconvenience of having to drive back home after a night out (or in). They appreciate that the sofa converts into a sleeper because they want to use the bedroom space as a dedicated game room to play poker or blackjack with friends or to host a formal catered party.”
The outdoor terrace carries the playful theme with a putting green, outdoor chairs and a bench that faces the contemporary outdoor fireplace.
