Dolce & Gabbana has teamed with global e-commerce partner YOOX to develop its online boutique, open now.
Shoppers can log on to the new Dolce & Gabbana eStore to purchase the Italian label’s mens’, womens’ and accessories collections, with free delivery for the site’s first three months of operation.
The e-commerce platform will have a strong editorial feel, with a “shop-by-look” feature, 360-degree product images and integrated videos.
“We’re fascinated by the idea of opening a boutique that’s available to the entire world. We’ve believed in the power of the web right from day one. Now, even people not living in large cities will be able to experience the Dolce & Gabbana world,” designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in a statement.
The eStore will launch later in China on August 8th, in recognition of the number eight’s strong significance in Chinese culture. Home delivery will be available to 400 cities across the nation.
