The Mandarin Oriental, Munich is now offering a luxurious Christmas Package, where guests can enjoy Munich and the holidays during the city’s most beautiful time of year. Snow seamlessly covers the charming the streets where guests can enjoy the famous festive Christmas market and beautiful decorations.
The Christmas package includes a two night stay at Mandarin Oriental, Munich, daily á la carte breakfast at Restaurant Mark’s, in addition to an exclusive guided tour of Munich’s historic Christmas market.
Keeping with the Christmas spirit, the Mandarin Oriental, Munich will host weekly performances on Saturdays in December from local children’s choirs as well as life-sized Steiff animal figures decorating the Lobby Lounge.
But the holiday fun does not end with just Christmas, guests are invited to welcome in the New Year with fireworks, champagne and gourmet dining.
As a tribute to the fascinating era of the tsars, Mandarin Oriental, Munich will be holding a special evening filled with entertainment, The Saint Petersburg Tsar Night. For this special evening the hotel will be decorated in a lavish ‘Saint Petersburg’ style and a live band and DJ will also be featured to welcome in the New Year from 7 pm. The night is not complete without a five-course gourmet menu created by Executive Chef Simon Larese at Restaurant Mark’s. This opulent evening will be followed by a champagne reception complemented by fireworks to welcome the New Year.

Guests can enjoy tempting menu dishes in the Wooden Chalet will joined around rustic Bavarian communal tables. Some of the menu dishes included are; Tartare of Scottish Salmon with Crème Fraiche and Caviar, Roasted Beef Filet and Braised Cheeks with Smoked Mash Potatoes, Glazed Vegetables and Red Wine Sauce, and Mille Feuille of Crepe with Orange, Nougat, and White Peach Ice Cream.
