This Fall, Lapis Spa at Fontainebleau Miami Beach will invite celebrated experts in the health and wellness fields to host unique workshops and classes for guests and Miami locals as part of the spa’s second Annual Lapis Spa Wellness Series.
This collective programming kicked off this September, running through the end of the year, and features exciting partnerships with Barry’s Bootcamp, Zumba Fitness Party in Pink, Green Monkey Yoga and astrologer Susan Miller.
Designed to broaden the health living offerings at the famed resort’s Lapis Spa, this year’s Lapis Spa Wellness Series began on Friday, September 6 during National Yoga Month with a partnership with Miami’s popular Green Monkey Yoga studio to host Tribe, a Yoga class.
Four different instructors from Green Monkey taught a 90-minute class that included a DJ spinning tracks to the flow of each teacher’s style. Lapis will continue to offer Yoga Balanced by Green Monkey to hotel guests and local Green Monkey members on Fridays at 8:00 am and Saturdays at 9:00 am.
The series’ dynamic line-up of wellness experts and invigorating experiences from across the country will range from one-off classes to workshops for a more comprehensive wellness experience. The fitness, healthy living, and spiritual programming will continue each month until the end of the year, with diverse and challenging offerings.
In addition to Green Monkey Yoga classes, Lapis Spa’s Wellness Series features group fitness options such as Barry’s Bootcamp, which combines cardio, strength training and traditional military exercise for a dynamic 1000-calorie workout. Hour-long Barry’s Bootcamp classes will be held on October 12 and November 9. Zumba Fitness Party in Pink, another group fitness option on October 5, encourages people to workout for a good cause, raising money for breast cancer research.
Astrologer Susan Miller will be on-site for a weekend in November to give a lecture. Additionally, fans can purchase a discounted overnight package deal that includes intimate dinner with the famed astrologer. Guests who attend a Barry’s Bootcamp or Zumba Fitness Party in Pink class will also exclusively save 20% on overnight stays at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
“After last year’s success, we are thrilled to continue the Lapis Spa Wellness Series into its second year with programming that reflects Lapis’ core philosophy of whole body relaxation and rejuvenation,” said Josie Feria, Director of Spa Operations at Lapis Spa.
“Our hand-picked experts will inspire guests to enhance their well-being and cultivate a healthy lifestyle in unique and unexpected ways,” he continued.
