Four Seasons Resorts Lanai has announced the debut of the resort’s first full service airport lounge, located at Honolulu International Airport. The lounge, situated in the commuter terminal, will welcome Four Seasons guests en route to Lanai.
Four Seasons Resorts Lanai, a recognized leader in innovation and providing exceptional guest experiences, is the first to offer a luxury airport lounge in Hawaii, exclusively reserved for discerning resort guests at the airport. Redefining the arrival experience, guests of Four Seasons Resorts Lanai will begin their Lanai experience prior to arriving on the island in the comforts of Four Seasons’ sophisticated lounge.
“The lounge allows Four Seasons a unique opportunity, to not only be a leader in luxury hotel travel, but most importantly to offer a sophisticated, yet relaxing setting for our guests prior to stepping foot on the island,” said Tom Roelens, General Manager of Four Seasons Resorts Lanai.
“The innovative concept allows guests to ‘check-out’ and ease into their vacation, all the while ‘checking-in’ to the resort from Honolulu International Airport. It’s convenient, intuitive and state-of-the-art,” he added.
The 1,000-square-foot luxury lounge offers a retreat-like setting for passengers prior to the flight to Lanai. Guests will benefit from complimentary amenities – including food, beverages, iPads, Wi-Fi access, charging stations, luggage holding areas, magazines, newspapers, and hi-def televisions. Additionally, Four Seasons will have a Lounge Concierge available to assist with check-in, activity and restaurant reservations.
Air access to and from Lanai has increased in recent months, allowing for a variety of flight options for the 25-minute flight to the island. Currently, flight service to Lanai from Honolulu is provided by Island Air and Mokulele Airlines. Ohana by Hawaiian Airlines is expected to launch flight service to Lanai sometime in 2014.
“Island Air is pleased to partner with Four Seasons Resorts Lanai on this new airport lounge for resort guests,” said Paul Casey, Chief Executive Officer of Island Air. “This is one of the first steps in our collaboration to elevate the guest experience for passengers traveling to the resort,” he added.
When booking their room reservations, Four Seasons Resorts Lanai guests arriving from the mainland and connecting via Honolulu to Lanai will also be offered “Concierge Transfer” service provided by Island Air.
Depending on the distance of the Honolulu terminal at which the guests arrive, Island Air guest services staff will greet the passengers and walk them over to the commuter terminal or escort and transfer them via the Wiki-Wiki Intra-Terminal Bus or Island Air’s Mercedes Sprinter.
Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is offering the ‘Stay Longer – Fourth Night Free’ promotion, which provides one complimentary night to guests who book three consecutive nights at Manele Bay – with rates starting at $459 per night.
