New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
The Greenbrier, the classic American resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV, has announced the opening of The Windsor Club, a collection of newly renovated guestrooms with state-of-the-art in-room technology and amenities. Named for the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, frequent guests of The Greenbrier during the 1950s, The Windsor Club is comprised of 26 guestrooms on two levels, including the seven-bedroom Presidential Suite. Each room features antique furnishings, canopy beds with 400-thread-count Filo Doro Italian linens, a personalized pillow menu and select rooms with gas fireplaces.
From the moment of their arrival through the duration of their stay, guests of The Windsor Club have access to the very best of The Greenbrier. Upon arrival, Windsor Club guests bypass the resort’s regular check-in and are greeted by a personal concierge who whisks them directly to their Windsor Club accommodations for private check-in.
Guests of The Windsor Club have exclusive access to The Virginia Room which is known for William Grauer’s iconic 1930 mural depicting the history of The Greenbrier. Here they can enjoy the club’s exclusive concierge service, all-day private dining and open-bar service, and the private terrace and garden.
Windsor Club guests are also treated to complimentary VIP turndown service, preferred dining reservations, personalized weather reports, faster Internet connectivity and Smart Room Technology that enables guests to customize their in-room lighting, TV and wakeup settings. Nothing is forgotten: after their arrival, Windsor Club guests’ cars are even washed by Greenbrier staff.
