British footwear and accessories brand Harrys of London has set its sights on Asian expansion, partnering with AOI Company Limited to extend the company’s reach in the Japanese market.
The luxe men’s label follows in a long line of well established European brands that have worked with AOI Company to grow their business in Japan, including Salvatore Ferragamo and Christian Louboutin.
Harrys of London’s first shop-in-shop opened last month in the new Hankyu Men’s flagship store in Ginza, while the brand made its debut in Hankyu’s Osaka location at the same time.
“We are honoured to be working with the AOI team and with Hankyu. Collaborating with AOI’s top strategists to direct and maximize the brand’s potential here has been a great experience. To open shops with Hankyu in Tokyo and Osaka is a significant milestone in our international expansion,” HOL’s CEO Giuseppe Bonfiglio said.
