Israel is expanding its range of luxury five-star hotels to cater for a rise in travelers.
From elegant city hotels and chic urban boutiques to seaside resorts along the Mediterranean, investors, hoteliers and entrepreneurs from Israel are seizing the opportunity to take part in the country’s burgeoning hotel scene.

Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem
Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem, just a minute’s walk from the Jaffa Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem, Alrov Mamilla mall and Independence Park, will open in April 2014. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide have recently announced plans to open a W Hotel in the seaside city of Jaffa in 2015. Ritz Carlton Herzliya
Located just 15 minutes north of Tel Aviv, the all-new Ritz Carlton Herzliya features 197 luxurious rooms with 82 suites, including studios, one and two-bedroom suites, and penthouse suites, all with balconies overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in the coastal city of Herzliya.
The first Ritz Carlton to open in Israel, the hotel is adjacent to the Herzliya Marina and shopping mall, and is just 25 minutes from the new Caesarea Golf Course, Israel’s first 18-hole course. The Norman Hotel, Tel Aviv
The Norman hotel is located within two carefully preserved Bauhaus and International-style buildings adjacent to Tel Aviv’s King Albert Square in the heart of the “White City,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The newest property by the Atlas Hotel Group, the Arthur Hotel opened in March 2013 and is located near Ben Yehuda Street in Jerusalem just a few minutes’ walk to the Old City sites.
