To celebrate the upcoming launch of the first shop-in-shop of the renowned British shoe brand on the fifth floor of Printemps de la mode in France, Mr. Manolo Blahnik will make a unique exhibition during the Parisian fashion week.
The exhibition, designed as a stroll through the brand’s history, will gather together the brand’s most historic models as well as Mr. Blahnik’s personal favorites on the second floor of Printemps de la mode. A dozen themes will be presented including Spain, nature, modernism, and Russia.
To mark this occasion, Manolo Blahnik is re-releasing, exclusively for Printemps Haussmann, one of its most iconic models: the “Ossie,” with the tread signed “Manolo Blahnik for Printemps.” First known as the Ivy, this model was designed in 1971 for famed English designer Ossie Clark’s fashion show. A mélange of bright green and red, this shoe is poetry in motion; its long suede straps topped with luscious red berries and its four-inch heels accentuating the silhouette. This exclusive shoe is also available in black.
