The new, 482-acre Bonnet Creek resort development will feature a private nature preserve. Bonnet Creek incorporates the Waldorf Astoria™ Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, both of which are scheduled to open in October 1, 2009.
The 75-acre Bonnet Creek Nature Preserve is a diverse ecosystem, which includes state-protected wetlands and a native forest of conifers and deciduous trees that 100+ migratory birds call home.
“In the midst of Orlando’s many sites and attractions, the Bonnet Creek Nature Preserve offers a tranquil escape,” states Tom Parke, the resorts’ director of marketing.
Bonnet Creek, the largest development in Hilton Hotels’ history, encompasses both the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and is surrounded on three sides by Walt Disney World® Resort.
The Waldorf Astoria Orlando, the first Waldorf Astoria outside of New York City, will emulate the elegance and grandeur of the legendary landmark. Comprised of 497
deluxe rooms and suites, the resort will feature 28,000 square feet of exclusive flexible meeting space, a 4,000-square-foot fitness center, pre-function areas and Butler Service upon request. The resort’s outdoor facilities boast a formal signature pool, encircled by chic private cabanas, complimented by lush tropical landscaping and poolside butlers.
