This month, InterContinental Hotels unveiled the group’s latest edition, InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay. Through collaborating with a series of world-class designers, architects and culinary purveyors, the luxury hotel group has succeeded in creating an exciting new addition to Singapore’s luxury hotel scene that stands out for its distinct identity as well as for being positioned in the upscale neighborhood of Robertson Quay.
At its October launch, InterContinental unveiled the new hotel’s 225 luxurious studios and suites, including the palatial penthouse where floor-to-ceiling windows afford guests panoramic views over Singapore River and the city.
Designed by the award-winning architect firm, SCDA, the property combines elements of Robertson Quay’s industrial heritage with contemporary design accents and the use of Italian marble, slate, brushed copper and bronze. Then the light-filled interiors are designed to accentuate the comforts of home, with plush custom-made furnishings and amenities such as a specially designed in-room cocktail kit by Proof & Co.
Established as a dining and lifestyle destination, the hotel is also home to a collection of restaurants and bars, from the flagship Italian dining spot Publico, which encompasses a deli, bar space and restaurant with adjoining terrace, to the New York institution Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener and a restaurant and bar concept by Izy Sushi. The hotel’s Quayside Lounge will then provide a lush tropical space for afternoon tea and evening cocktails.
A lap pool and 24-hour fitness studio, plus extensive facilities for business travelers complete the experience a stay here affords.
