The Ritz-Carlton Suite, The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.

The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. puts you in the heart of the action. Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Foggy Bottom – the capital’s government and cultural hub just a few blocks west of The White House – you’ll be well placed, whether you are in Washington D.C. for business or pleasure.

The hotel’s modern exterior gives little away, but step inside and that trademark Ritz-Carlton grandeur is everywhere; the interiors offer the brand’s signature classic sophistication with a contemporary edge.

Food and drink is also taken seriously here. The moodily-lit Quadrant Bar and Lounge is home to an expert team of mixologists, who whip up some of the best signature cocktails in the city.

In May, the hotel unveiled The Saga restaurant by Venezuelan chef Enrique Limardo (of the city’s Michelin-starred Imperfecto). An innovative menu of Spanish dishes reimagined with a Latin American twist has already received critical acclaim.

The Ritz-Carlton Suite gives rise to the history of Washington, D.C. whilst ensuring a modern aesthetic. Acting as a luxury home away from home, the classic tricolor of red, white and blue has never looked so chic (trust us, it works).

The one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom accommodation has a stately living room decorated with American art and a feature fireplace.

A formal eight-seat dining room is served by a pantry, while a plant-lined terrace with panoramic views of downtown provides the chance to dine al fresco.

The bedroom is adorned in soothing neutral tones with subtle touches of blue and gold. It features a king-sized bed with Frette luxury linens. A chic minimalist master bathroom boasts a floating marble double vanity and an inviting Jacuzzi tub with a separate rainforest shower.
